im looking for the title of a movie, i cant remember a whole lot. haven't seen it since i was 13 or 14
was released some time before 1995, i think in the 80's.

about a guy traveling around in a armored vehicle during a future (not sure how far in the future) post-apocalyptic earth(?), maybe another planet. At one point a kid travels with him and they go into a temple or castle or some other kind of structure maybe even a cave, they find some creatures and the kid tries to run but one of the creatures wrap him up in their wings or some other appendage and the camera cuts to its feet and you see remains of the kid and some greenish liquid fall to the ground

The only one I can think of or comes to my mind when you mention the part about wrapping wings/apendictures around a person makes me think
of and I could be wrong, one of the The BeastMaster Movies, where he run's into a man/bird type creature.

And I say this one is at the end, where he is fighting to save a group of people, he sends his bird of with a Madelon to hopefully bring them back
to him to help save them from these people attacking.

The area he's in was surrounded by a mot they dug, filled with oil, lite on fire as the bad guy's rode towards them and of course start falling into the
fire pit trap. except the one bridge doesn't get pulled, and fight persues untill help arrives from these winged man creatures.

But I as I said was thinking this was a The BeastMaster Movie. But No vehicle in that one...

Hmmm, guess I is gonna have to see if I can get my memory rolled back to that time, see if I can remember other of that kind..
